Bánh Bột Lọc, Nộm Đu Đủ Bò Khô, Chuối Chiên

We decided to have a little bit of Hue in Hanoi today. Bánh Bột Lọc, filled with shrimp and pork, has the consistency of dumplings. It’s soft, squishy (but not too squishy), and super easy to eat. I passed on the fried bananas (seen inside the bag) but happily ate the papaya salad with dried beef. I love papaya salad almost as much as I love lotus stem salad. All in all I’d say lunch today was a massive success.
