Mango Salad with Squid, Pan Fried Duck in Orange Sauce, Grilled Chicken with Lemongrass, and Mixed Fried Rice

Last night I went to dinner at Pineapple with my buddy Elliot, a former 2-year Volunteers in Asia volunteer who is now in Hanoi for the summer. We talked about my favorite movie, religion, culture, and ethnicity. Heady topics for a Friday night, but I was glad to have the conversation and the company. The food wasn’t as mind-blowing as it usually is, possibly because we arrived at night, but the restaurant is still a place I wouldn’t ever hesitate to bring friends and visitors alike to.
