The month in Tokyo flew by entirely too fast. I miss it and I will most certainly return this year. I’m in Verona, Italy, now visiting my grandmother and spending time with Matías before he and I both head off to Florence next week for a meeting with Automattic colleagues. The weather in this city is cold, drizzly, and dreadful but for some reason I couldn’t care less! Being here in and of itself is a delight and it’s always been a dream of mine to visit Nani and breathe in Italian air. My studio is literally just a few minutes’ walk from Arena di Verona and while walking there today I spotted more than a few pizza and gelato places. I am already allowing myself full forgiveness in advance of gaining a pound or two during the next few weeks.
