My last dinner in Manila, eaten at Café Mediterranean in Greenbelt 1. The number of malls in this city is staggering. All in all I had a wonderful, restful day, and I even managed to visit Fort Santiago with Naoko. I’m happy I decided to visit Manila, and this definitely won’t be the last time that I travel to the Philippines. The people who I met here were fantastic.
Month: October 2012
Breakfast Pancakes
Eaten at New World in Manila. Today will be the first day of rest I’ve had in a few weeks, so I plan to take advantage of it by exploring the city, taking photos, and eating good food; in other words, being a good tourist.
Black Coffee, Mixed Fruit, Toasted Bagel
Breakfast for lunch at Starbucks, close to the Asian Institute of Management (the location of this year’s WordCamp Philippines). Today has been beyond wonderful and I’ll definitely be in Manila again for next year’s WordCamp.
Garlic Rice, Steamed Vegetables, Chicken Adobo
I’m currently in Manila and will be here until Monday. The occasion? WordCamp Philippines; I’ll be speaking about approaches to WordPress theme development, naturally.
Cold Milk Tea, Chicken and Mushroom Congee, Carrot Cake
This was my last meal in Singapore for a while, eaten at Tai Hing in Changi this morning. As always, I had an absolutely wonderful time in the country, and I’m determined to move here for a month or two during 2013. I’ve made some wonderful friends here, the WordPress community in Singapore is growing, and the food and culture come second to none. I already miss the place.
